Microsoft DreamSpark
Free Microsoft Software for Students
As a member of DreamSpark, Penn State New Kensington is able to distribute to you free Microsoft software with a license that never expires—even after you graduate! All you have to do is:
- Register the DreamSpark products you install with the provided product keys
- Adhere to the license terms of the Student Use Agreement
How it works:
- At the start of the academic year, students who are assigned to Penn State New Kensington and are taking at least one for-credit course are automatically enrolled in the DreamSpark program.
- After DreamSpark processes your enrollment, you will receive an e-mail from DreamSpark with your username and password to access the software site.
- Simply log into the system using your username and password and start browsing/ordering the software available to you.
To obtain software:
- Simply log into the system ( http://msdn07.e-academy.com/elms/Storefront/Home.aspx?campus=psu_cnis) using your username and password that was e-mailed to you from DreamSpark. If you cannot find the e-mail from DreamSpark with your login credentials, you can click on the link "I've forgotten my password!" and your password will be e-mailed to you. NOTE: Your username to this system is your full PSU e-mail address.
- Select the software you would like to order and add it to your shopping cart.
- Complete the check-out process
- Download your software title.
- Burn the downloaded ISO image to the appropriate media (CD/DVD)
- Install the software title on your computer.
