Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 7 AM to 8 PM
Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from campus.
What about meals?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided each day. There will be a recognition dinner for all participants and their families on Wednesday, May 8 at 6 PM.
Who will participate?
Twelve college-bound regional high school females in grades nine through eleven will be selected for participation on the basis of their intellectual curiosity about possible career choices, academic ability and personal interest.
Who will coordinate the program?
Penn State New Kensington faculty members from various departments will lead the sessions. Female engineers, technicians and scientists from local industries will share their experiences. At an evening mentoring session, selected female students from Penn State New Kensington will also serve as student mentors and program volunteers.
