Application Day

Admissions staff can help you complete your application. Those with complete applications applying to Penn State New Kensington may receive decisions on-the-spot. In order to complete the application process, please bring your official high school transcripts, proof of SAT or ACT scores, and transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you have attended (including college in high school credits). If your school will not provide you with an official transcript, please bring and unofficial copy and ask that the official copies be mailed to Penn State New Kensington (3550 Seventh Street Road, New Kensington, PA 15068).

Be a Student for a Day

Do you want to get a glimpse of college life first-hand? Why not be a Penn State student for the day? Visit Penn State New Kensington, and a student will be your host.
You will:
- Sit in on college classes.
- Interact with other students.
- Just "hang-out" around campus.
- Eat lunch in the cafe on us!
Spaces are limited. Reservations are required.

FAFSA Line-by-Line

Do you have questions about applying for financial aid? If so, please join the Penn State New Kensington Financial Aid Office for FAFSA Line-by-Line. In this seminar, we will take an in-depth look at the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and explain the logic behind the questions and provide tips on how to complete the form successfully. By attending this workshop, you will have all of the information you need to complete the FAFSA from your own home.
Penn State recommends that students (and their parents) complete the FAFSA by February 15 of the year they intend to begin their education.
