Admissions Requirements
You must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with a Junior/Senior GPA of at least 3.0. Exceptions may be made if you have a special background, abilities, and interests.
If your GPA falls below 3.0 but is at least 2.5, you will need to take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). You will be expected to achieve a combined score of at least 850 for the verbal and quantitative subtests.

The GRE is administered by the Educational Testing Service. For dates, locations, and other information about the test, please call the Student Assistance Center at Penn State Harrisburg (717-948-6025) or write to the Educational Testing Service, Graduate Record Examination, Princeton NJ 08540. You may also visit their website at http://www.gre.org/.

You may request an application for admission to the Master of Education program by calling Penn State New Kensington Continuing Education (724-334-6012) or visit the graduate admissions website.
