Transfer Admission to Penn State New Kensington
Transfer admission to Penn State New Kensington is possible after applicants have completed 18 semester hours of credit. Most programs require a minimum grade-point average of 2.0 although programs in engineering and the sciences typically require a cumulative average of at least a 2.5. Education programs typically require a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0. Certain programs may also require the completion of prerequisite courses. Transfer Admission to Penn State University Park
For transfer admission to the University Park campus applicants must have completed two years of college-level work (60 credits) and have strong academic records. Certain programs have more stringent grade-point average requirements and may also require the completion of prerequisite courses. Some programs may not be available to transfer students. Components of a Complete Application
When you apply to Penn State, you will need to send the following:
- $50 non-refundable application fee
- Official copy of your high school transcript or a copy of your General Education Diplomat (GED), if applicable
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
- List of course work, in progress or planned, prior to enrollment at Penn State
- Catalog descriptions of all course work completed and scheduled
