Alumni Golf Scramble: List of official sponsors

ALUMNI GOLF SCRAMBLE

Four companies have signed-on as the official sponsors of the Alle-Kiski Society’s 13th annual Alumni Golf Scramble that tees up at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, at the Links at Spring Church in Apollo, Pa.

Westmoreland Insurance Services/Burrell Group Inc. in New Kensington is “The Pride” tournament sponsor. Engineered Air, a Canadian-based designer and manufacturer of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units, is the “For the Future” dinner sponsor. Industrial Automation and Control, a Freeport company that provides engineering solutions for control system problems, is “The Nittany” lunch sponsor. LaRusse’ Distributing Co., a Tarentum-based beer distributor, is the “Roaring Lion” beverage cart sponsor.

In addition to the official sponsors, individuals and businesses are supporting the event with tee sponsorships. A field of more than 20 foursomes is expected help raise funds for the society's endowed scholarship that awards from $3,000 to $4,000 yearly to campus students.

There is still time to register as a team or as an individual who will be assigned to a team and as a tee sponsor. The $110 golf fee includes green fee and cart, lunch, dinner, prizes and refreshments on the course. Tee sponsorships are available for $100.
