Hazardous Materials Emergencies
PENNSYLVANIA WORKER AND COMMUNITY RIGHT-TO-KNOW ACT
The Pennsylvania Worker and Community Right-To-Know Law require that specific information be posted in all locations occupied by University employees. These postings provide information on employee rights under this law and also identify hazardous substances in the workplace. At Penn State New Kensington, this information is posted outside the enrollment services area in a display case. Our maintenance and chemistry personnel maintain the Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in the their respective areas, for all chemicals used on campus. One complete set of the documents are located in the Business and Finance office. If you have questions or concerns over hazardous materials being used on campus, please contact Tracie Brockhoff at 724-334-6742 or e-mail her at tzb1@psu.edu
