NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
First Year Regional Boat Ride
Date:
Friday, August 24, 2012
Boarding:
7:30 p.m.
Cruise:
8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
We're on a boat! Pittsburgh city sights, the warm night breeze and the music from a DJ are the highlights of this traditional orientation boat cruise on the three rivers of Pittsburgh. The Penn State campuses of New Kensington, Beaver, Shenango, and Greater Allegheny are the hosts for this event which attracts more than 400 students each year during orientation. All newly-enrolled first-year students are welcome to attend. If you love to dance, like to watch from the balcony, or just like to sit on the top deck and enjoy the city at sunset, don’t miss this summer fun on the Majestic boat from the Gateway Clipper Fleet in Pittsburgh. Transportation is provided from each campus. Look for more information coming in the mail and in the First Year Connection Newsletter.
