CONFERENCE AND NATIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Penn State New Kensington athletic teams compete in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) and the United State Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
The PSUAC conference comprises 15 teams from Penn State campuses across the state. Penn State New Kensington's athletics is the elite program of the Penn State system. The team has won the CCAC or PSUAC championship a record 21 times in six sports.
The USCAA is a national organization that is geared to provide athletic opportunities to small colleges—those with enrollments of less than 1,500. It sponsors 11 national championship tournaments in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and golf. Established in 2001, the USCAA was incorporated to provide an opportunity for members to compete on an equal level of competition with schools of similar size and athletic programs. Headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, the organization has more than 50 member institutions in 24 states, stretching from Maine to California. New Kensington joined the USCAA in 2005 and, in that time, three student-athletes have been named to the All America team.
