Why Get Involved?
Getting involved in campus clubs is a great way to meet people, gain important leadership skills, and have fun!  We have a variety of clubs and organizations at Penn State New Kensington and organizations in which students can participate.  In addition to this, students who are interested can explore the option of creating their own clubs in order to get people interested in new activities on campus.

How Do I Get Started?
There are many clubs and organizations of various interests for students to join each year.  At the start of the fall semester the Back to School Bash and Club Rush events provide an opportunity for you to explore all the clubs and organizations and meet club members. If you don’t find what you are looking for you have the opportunity to form your own club! READ ON!

Procedure for Registering Organizations
Students who want to form a new club or organization that would use the name and/or the facilities of the University must be granted recognition by the University.  The University recognizes as authorized only those groups that are registered and conform with the policies established by the Student Government Association and the Office of Student Life. A completed Request for Official Recognition form, accompanied by a copy of the proposed constitution and by-laws, a list of the officers, and the name of the person serving as adviser should be submitted to the SGA president and to the Office of Student Life for approval.
