Interested in living at school? Penn State New Kensington has privately-owned student apartments 100 yards from campus.
The modern two and three bedroom apartments are fully furnished and provide:
- kitchen (standard appliances, plus microwave and disposal)
- spacious living/dining area
- private bath (featuring two sinks)
- air conditioning
- wall to wall carpeting
- wiring for cable television
- laundry facilities
- vending machines
The co-ed complex is supervised by Resident Advisors, who are upper-class students trained in leadership and first aid. On-call emergency maintenance and management staffing is also provided.
Rent is reasonably priced at $1,620 per student, per semester. A security deposit of $250 is required. Payment plans are available and Nittany Highlands Management works closely with the Penn State New Kensington Student Aid Office.
All Penn State New Kensington students are permitted to have a car on campus and parking is free both on campus and at the Nittany Highlands apartments. Residing in such close proximity to the campus enables students to take full advantage of the student activities and University resources.
