Penn State New Kensington Health Services provides educational programs and medical services to students that are designed to improve their health. Health Services staff work collaboratively to identify and advocate for student needs to provide appropriate high quality, cost effective responses.
Located in the Athletics Center, the Health Services clinic is open to all students registered for the current semester. Faculty and staff are also eligible for emergency care and screenings.

The staff of the Health Services clinic assures that all health care providers adhere to the professional practice of patient confidentiality, privacy, dignity, and informed consent. Information in your medical record is released only when you provide written authorization. Health Promotion and Education
We promote health awareness, positive health behaviors, and disease prevention. One-on-one counseling is available to students seeking assistance with health concerns such as smoking, alcohol and other drug abuses, nutrition and weight management, human sexuality issues, and more. Penn State offers a Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan. The eligibility requirement for undergraduate students is only 3 credit units and attending classes for the first 31 days.
